There may be some binaries problem so you can use below command,
# yum reinstall lvm2
This command will reinstall the LVM package with respective binaries.

pvcreate command not found error
I have installed all packages but while creating physical volume pvcreate command not found error appears.
Am using CentOS minimal!! Where as in other minimal distribution i works fine. Whats wrong here.
