Packet Capture
A captured packet is temporarily stored for analyzing. It is inspected so that network problems, if any, can be diagnosed and solved. Packet capturing also helps a user to check if the network security policies are followed. Hackers can also use packet capturing techniques to steal data that is being transmitted over a network.
