NFS

NFS stands for Network File System, which is a network service based on the Remote Procedure Call. It helps in mounting the remote file systems and accessing those file systems. It is designed in such a way that it supports sharing of folders and files by using a standard client/server architecture. It also permits the configuration of centralized storage solutions. NFS services are being secured with Kerberos and Firewalls.
