The OracleVM is the open source and free server virtualization that is supported in Linux, windows and Solaris. There are three components in Oracle VM: Oracle VM manager – web based management console to manage server, Oracle VM Server- includes a version of Xen hypervisor technology, Oracle VM Manager- manager for management of virtual machines.

VMware offers a secure and stable desktop virtualization platform, which runs various virtual machines on a single PC. It permits the replication of tablet, server and desktop environments on a virtual machine. It is a commercial virtualization software and is installed on the top of a host operating system. Each and every virtual machine that is set by VMware workstation, can have separate guest operating systems and the executions are performed simultaneously on those operating systems. It mostly supports a 32-bit or a 64-bit guest operating system and provides a faster performance and better graphics.

RHEV is a desktop or server based platform from the Red Hat.RHEV stands for Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization, which is based on the KVM hypervisor. It provides a RHEL-based centralized management server with a web-based interface to manage the virtual machines (VMs).

Vmware-vsphere is a web application that helps in the creation of virtual machines and in the installation of guest operating systems. Its bug fixes are limited to some critical issues and security. The bugs deviate from functionality of a particular product, which facilitates data loss, data corruption and system crash. Vsphere is responsible for a better efficiency, performance and availability.
