Install command used to install a new package from repos, whereas reinstall command will install the already installed package only. If that package is not installed already, then it wont install as fresh.
Reinstall command helps to check for the broken or dependencies for that package.

Hello, What is the difference between yum install and yum reinstall command, both will install packages right..??
