How to Install ZenPhoto CMS 1.5.1v on Ubuntu 18.10
Installation of ZenPhoto CMS 1.5.1 on Ubuntu 18.10
Pre-requisites:
Apache 2.4.34
PHP 7.2 v is highly recommended
MySQL 5+ version is highly supported.
PHP Modules:
php php-gd php-curl php-mbstring php-mcrypt php-mysql php-simplexml

Installation
Before you begin, make sure you configure the MariaDB for Zenphoto CMS using root password as follows.
root@linuxhelp:~# mysql -u root -p

MariaDB [(none)]> create database zen character set utf8mb4;

MariaDB [zen]> grant all on zen.* to zenuser@localhost;

MariaDB [zen]> flush privileges;
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.02 sec)
MariaDB [zen]> exit
Bye
And then, hange the directory to Apache’s Document root directory.
root@linuxhelp:~# cd /var/www
Create a directory for Zenphoto CMS.
root@linuxhelp:/var/www# mkdir zen
Change the directory to zen.
root@linuxhelp:/var/www# cd zen
Download the zenphoto CMS using wget command. The download link is mentioned in the wget command.
root@linuxhelp:/var/www/zen# wget https://github.com/zenphoto/zenphoto/archive/v1.5.1.zip

Rename the newly created file to final.

Assign ownership permissions to the final directory.
root@linuxhelp:/var/www/zen# cd final/
root@linuxhelp:/var/www/zen/final# chown -R www-data. ./
Assign writable permissions to the final directory
root@linuxhelp:/var/www/zen/final# chmod -R 775 ./
root@linuxhelp:/var/www/zen/final# ll

And then, create a virtual hosting for zenphoto CMS.

Disable the default access sites.
root@linuxhelp:/var/www/zen/final# a2dissite 000-default.conf
Site 000-default disabled.
To activate the new configuration, you need to run:
systemctl reload apache2
Enable the Zenphoto CMS site.
root@linuxhelp:/var/www/zen/final# a2ensite zen.conf
Enabling site zen.
To activate the new configuration, you need to run:
systemctl reload apache2
Enable the rewrite module
root@linuxhelp:/var/www/zen/final# a2enmod rewrite
Enabling module rewrite.
To activate the new configuration, you need to run:
systemctl restart apache2
After that, restart the service of Apache.
root@linuxhelp:/var/www/zen/final# systemctl restart apache2
Once the Apache service is restarted, open your browser and enter the servername and hit Enter key.
