PowerDNS is a high performance authoritative nameserver, which is compatible with several backends. PowerDNS is featured with different back-ends from simple BIND style zonefiles to relational databases. It enables to use the BIND configuration files, read information from MariaDB, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and many other databases. It uses the web-based control panel for PowerDNS called Poweradmin.
