Public Key is a component of cryptography. Public Key, as the name suggest, can be known to everyone and is used for encrypting a message. Public key utilizes asymmetric key encryption algorithm. The message with public key becomes unreadable, unless a different yet matching private key is used by an end user to decrypt it. The method in which a message is encrypted with public key is called as public key infrastructure. public keys which may be disseminated widely, and private keys which are known only to the owner.
