To install Call-Center in Elastix

In the previous articles, we saw about various aspects of Elastix. In this article, we will learn how to install Call Center in Elastix. Elastix server provides call center service, and it can be done by installing the call-center module.

The module lets the elastix server to act as a call center, so that its users can create call center agent and perform activities related to it.

There are two ways to install Call Center module as it can be done either Graphically or through a command line.

To Install Call-Center Graphically
Make sure you do not have have Call center installed in your Elastix. To do that, point to your elastix server ip address. If Elastix call center module is not installed, it will be displayed.

Click on the Addons option in the left pane.

In the listed Addons, find Call Center module and then click " Install"

Once it is done, sign in or sign up with your account so that you can install the module.

The installation takes place once you have logged in.

The module is now installed, start it through the Elastix dashboard.

After its done, you can view " Call Center" option on left pane.

If you want to install Call Center through a command, use the following command.

# yum install elastix-callcenter* -y

1. The System or Boot partition requires minimum 500M which should be mounted on /boot mount point.
