XML, expanded as Extensible Markup Language is a language which describes data. XML is used for creating information formats and share structured data electronically through the internet. It defines a set of rules for the purpose of encoding documents in machine/human readable formats. Apart from using xml for documents, it is also used for representing arbitrary data structures.
