Snapshot

Initially, taking a screenshot was done by pressing a key or making use of a combination of keys from the keyboard, but now there are several utilities in Linux which lets a user to take a screenshot with ease.  Some snapshot tools which are available in Linux can also be used for editing the screenshots which were taken by it. It is also possible to pixelate certain parts of the screenshot with some snapshot tools.
