Brute Force Attack
A Brute Force Attack is a kind of cryptographic attack which is used for decrypting any of the encrypted data. Usually, a brute force attack is a kind of trial-and-error technique used by application programs to decode an encrypted data. The data to decrypt may be anything such as passwords or DES keys or even Personal Identification Number. The decryption is done with brute force, hence the name. It applies all possible combinations of legal characters in sequence to decrypt a particular data.
