GUI

GUI is an user interface that used to interact with the electronic devices through the graphical icons and visual indicators in Linux. GUI stands for Graphical User Interface, which allows the users to work through the direct manipulation of the graphical elements. In Linux, users prefer GUI instead of using text based user interfaces, typed command labels and text navigation. Many GUI environments are available for Linux such as GNOME, KDE, XFCE, etc. The mentioned applications provide a taskbar and application launcher, which is similar to the windows start button. Some applications allow the users to change the window’s appearance through the window manager.
