IRC

IRC, expanded as Internet Relay Chat, is protocol used in the text based network communication. IRC is based on a client/server networking model, and in this case, the computer programs are considered as the IRC clients. The IRC clients contact the chat servers in order to transfer the messages to the other clients.IRC is used for the purpose of group communication and also one-on-one communications. It is also used for file sharing.
