Azure-SQL provides an inbound packet filter, which restricts the port connectivity specified in the Azure classic portal. In Linux, the Azure agent automatically configures the virtual machine to persist the overall changes to the platform DNS servers. It supports remote client tools and libraries that use the TDS.
