What Linux Operating system to choose?

Hello sir, i am very new to Linux and i am bit confused what operating system to choose in Linux. Someone tells go for Ubuntu and someone tells to go Linux Mint. Which one is best for me as a beginner? Please give me some suggestions for choosing Linux Operating Systems

It totally depends on your requirement and purpose of learning. If you need to learn web server concepts and other heavy testing on your machine to make it act as a server we recommend to go with a Minimal installation of centos. If you want to learn to gain knowlegde on Linux basics as well as GUI interface and other desktop utilities you must go for debian based. ( ubuntu is most preferred OS )
