Unable to open the .vmx file in Vmware Workstation 15.1

Hello.

I was trying to open the .vmx file with Vmware Workstation ,but its not getting opened.It had asked me the take Ownership and took ownership too.But vmx file is not opening up.

How to resolve the issue?

Navigate to the virtual machine location on your host machine,remove the *.vmx.lck file and then try opening the vmx file,which should open the virtual machine
