Random UUID generation in linux

hi...,

i need to generate UUID on my linux machine... how can i generate random uuid.....?

i think you forgot this..... just try as shown below........ !

# uuidgen

or

# cat /proc/sys/kernel/random/uuid

these both commands help you to create random uuid generation........!
