Error: xz compression not available

While doing the yum repolist, i didnt get the output just teh belwo error appears.

Error: xz compression not available

There may be some corrupted repos installed. Go to /etc/yum.repos.d/ Create a temp directory and move the unused repos to that and now check with "yum repolist" command.
