in my college lab we have common share folder is there to keep files and folder. i tried to access my mates files but it able to access only view the file. i tried to remove or rename the file it show permission denied. i listed the directory information it show below infomation. how to overcome from this ...?

drwsrwsrwt 2 root root 4096 Sep 25 04:42 /mydir it means the directory is set permission as sticky bit... here you access your particular files only with grand permission that's why sticky bit using here. only admin of the share directory is possible to change this rule...
