Database is not connecting to Wordpress in linux

I have installed mysql and created a database for using in wordpress. But when i entered the database details and trying to connect... it returns the following error...

Error Establishing a Database Connection

How to continue with the Wordpress installation..???

Hi bro..,

open wp-conf.php file and please check you entered DBNAME,  DBUSER, DBPASSWORD is it correct to  access mysql.

in my statement if you not configured this settings properly means it show this error Error Establishing a Database Connection..

Once you cross checked this settings then restart the mysql service and try too connect it will work...
