A Newer and a Faster Window Manager for Tina (Linux Mint 19.2)

The codename of Linux Mint 19.2 has been announced as “Tina”, in tribute to Tina Turner and her song ‘The Best’ (aka ‘Simply the Best’).

Linux Mint lead Clement Levebvre reveals the name in his latest Mint Monthly update. He remarks that he wants the upcoming release to be, in the words of Tina Turner’s hit song, “simply the best”.

In order to make OS management smoother and lighter, Linux Mint 19.2's Muffin window manager has performance improvements.

Not only that, even the Mint-Y GTK theme is planned to be improvised to enhance the contrast and the sharpness.

It is to be noted that, the new code-named Tina, Linux Mint 19.2 will be available in both 32-bit and 64-bit builds for the editions Cinnamon, MATE, and Xfce.
