How to Install Linphone in Ubuntu
To Install Linphone in Ubuntu 16.04
Linphone is a free application to communicate with people over the internet, through voice, video, and text instant messaging. Linphone follows the SIP protocol. Installation of Linphone in Ubuntu is explained in this manual.

To install Linphone
Before installing linphone, add the following repository to the system.
root@linuxhelp1:~# add-apt-repository ppa:linphone/release Look here for updated release versions of Linphone. Then run the following command to apply the changes.

To Launch Linphone
Search and click linphone icon on the dashboard.
The home page of the linphone appears as follows.
To create a new account, select Create an account on linphone.org option and click Forward.
Enter the details of your Account and click Apply.
Complete your validation process to proceed further.
Now you can start using Linphone.
