To install AnyDesk &ndash 2.9.5 on Ubuntu &ndash 18.04
AnyDesk is the open source remote desktop application. It is one of the world’ s most comfortable remote desktop application. Access all your programs, documents and files from anywhere, without having to entrust your data to a cloud service. You can say it’ s an alternative to the TeamViewer which is available free. Any desk provides the faster remote connection than any other existing remote desktop application.

Installing AnyDesk

Let us first begin the process by updating the system repository as follows.

We are going to get the latest version of any desk from its official site using the wget command.

After the download completes, you can install it by using the following command.

if you don' t have gdebi installed on your machine install it using " apt-get install gdebi" command

To open AnyDesk application, go to Ubuntu menu and type Anydesk on the menu when the icon appears to click to open.

The application is now launched with the address so in order to connect your computer from another desktop you can provide this address or if you want to connect the other desktop with your desktop you have to enter the address of the client machine in the remote desk bar.
open_anydesk

To check the version navigate to about anydesk menu from the menu bar
app_launch
