To Install Angry IP Scanner in Ubuntu 15.10
Angry IP scanner is a free, cross-platform, lightweight very fast IP address and port scanner. It can scan IP addresses in any range,it just pings each IP address to check whether it is alive or not. Installation of Angry IP Scanner in Ubuntu 15.10 is explained in this article.
To install Angry ip scanner
Run the following command to download the Angry ip scanner package.
root@linuxhelp:~# wget http://github.com/angryziber/ipscan/releases/download/3.4.1/ipscan_3.4.1_amd64.deb

Install the Angry IP scan package by using ‘ dpkg’ command.
root@linuxhelp:~# dpkg -i ipscan_3.4.1_amd64.deb

To Launch IP Scanner
Run the following command to open the ipscan application.
root@linuxhelp:~# ipscan
Click next to open Angry IP Scanner application.
Mention the IP ranges, Hostname and Netmask. Click start to scan.
Finally scanning report will be displayed.
