CrossOver

CrossOver is a Microsoft Windows compatibility layer available for macOS and Linux developed by CodeWeavers and based on Wine, an implementation of the Windows API on top of the Unix/Linux OS. CrossOver is a GUI (Graphical User Interface) front-end for Wine software which enables running the Windows programs on Linux distro like Ubuntu, Mint, Fedora, Debian, RHEL and other RPM-based operating systems. CrossOver runs directly on Linux OS and Windows software. Since CrossOver provides cross-platform copy & pasting and access to your files under either environment, there is no need for booting or launching a virtual machine or copy files from one file system to another. This compatibility layer enables many Windows-based applications to run on macOS or Linux operating systems. CrossOver Linux offers features like deployment and management features for corporate users and multiple user accounts per machine.
