To change permission for Matrix COSEC and access COSEC Web

Matrix COSEC is a flexible, modular and scalable solution used for the management of people mobility. This article explains about the steps involved in setting user permission in Matrix COSEC and to access COSEC web.

To change permission

In order to set the permission, first open your C drive .

Choose the Program files (x86) folder present in it.

You can view all the programs available in it. Choose the Matrix folder.

Righ-click on it and choose the properties option.

In the properties, choose the security tab.

Click on Edit button.

Set the permissions by choosing the Users option. This gives the complete permission to the users.

Once it is done, click apply.

After you are done with it, open the inetpub folder in the C drive.

You can view all the content present in the inetpub direcory.

Right click on the wwwroot folder and choose the properties option.

Choose the security tab in the properties window and click on the Edit option.

Now, give the full permission to the users by choosing the Users option.

After that, click on IIS_IUSRS option too and then click Apply.

To access the COSEC web

Click on the COSEC Web icon from the desktop.

You' ll be taken to Matric COSEC' s Login Page.

Enter the default username and password. Here the default username is sa and the password is admin.

A pop up window appears and prompts you to set new password.

Set the password.

Now login by using your new password.

Matrix COSEC home page appears on your screen.

When you keep your mouse on the admin module, all its functions are displayed on your screen.

The Users module allows the single and multi-level user configuration and credential management.

You can add, configure and maintain the devices through the device module.

Configure the shifts, and schedule the groups through the shifts and schedules module.

Enterprise Structure defines the Hierachical structure of the enterprise.

Time and Attendance module defines the attendance related policies.

Leave Management module lets you to configure and manage different types of leave.
