Optipng

Optipng is a tool used in Linux systems, which optimizes PNG images to a smaller size without compromising any data. It converts some external formats like PNM, GIF, BMP, and TIFF to optimized PNG.  Optipng is also capable of optimizing multiple images at a same time and also it can be used to optimize a folder full of images. This also performs integrity checks and corrections on PNG images.
