Pear Linux is an operating system based on Ubuntu Linux. Some of its features include ease-of-use, custom user interface with a Mac OS X-style dockbar, and out-of-the-box support for many popular multimedia codecs.Pfsense is mostly installed on physical or virtual machines to make it available as a dedicated firewall/router for networks. It can be upgraded through web interfaces and does not require a sound knowledge on managing the FreeBSD systems. It also supports third party software installation.
