Amazon EFS

Amazon EFS stands for Amazon Elastic File System that used to create and configure file systems easily through the simple interface. The web service interface manages all the file storage to avoid the complexity of deploying and patching of file systems.  It maintains the complex file system deployments. The Amazon EFS allows the users to access multiple Amazon EC2 instances at the same time and also provides a common data source for workloads.  In addition, it provides file system access like strong data consistency and file locking.
