Rs 70,000 was lost by the Vadodara lawyer

The Cyber Crime police station received a complaint from a city-based lawyer Nilesh Dave on Sunday that he has lost Rs. 70,000 from his bank account. The Baroda Bar Association has claimed several similar missing of bank account hack especially targetting the lawyers.

Dave has also informed the cybercrime that he received a WhatsApp message that asked him for marriage registration and through google pay he transferred almost a huge amount of 90,000 with a fake promise of returning it back. But the person has returned only 20,000. The message he received was from a person named Kumar. Kumar told Dave that he had found his number through a search provider.

In similar ways, almost four to five lawyers were set to fraud and some lawyers due to awareness have escaped such fraud. This was a trustworthy report from Nehal Sutariya, treasurer of BBA. Though cybercrime has received multiple complaints regarding similar account hacks still no action has been taken.
