Wallpaper Manager is a simple and lightweight application used for changing desktop wallpaper. The latest version available is Wallpaper Manager 2.0. This article explains about the installation of Wallpaper Manager on Ubuntu.
To install Wallpaper manager
The very first step to install the Wallpaper manager is to add the repository to the system. Do as follows.
root@localhost:/home/user1# add-apt-repository ppa:baitsart/wallpaper-manager

Wallpaper Manager has been successfully installed, click on the search bar and type wallpaper. Select the Wallpaper Manager application to access it.
You can see the wallpaper manager icon in the taskbar.
Choose your favorite images from All Images option.
You can pick a theme to download images related to it.
The image has been downloaded and set as the wallpaper. Use Next image option to change wallpaper to apply different wallpapers to the Desktop.
Installing and working with Wallpaper manager is quite simple, isn' t it? Not only it is a cool and fun tool to use, it is also compatible with several desktop environments such as Unity, Gnome Shell, Gnome Classic and Cinnamon. You can also make slideshow of wallpapers based on the categories or your favourite ones.
